About Vicky, Health Coach in Brighton

Hi, I’m Vicky. I am a Registered Nurse and Health coach who specialises in supporting people affected by cancer. If you’re facing a new diagnosis, preparing for or undergoing treatment, you may feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to support your body during this time. I’m here to help.

After treatment, rebuilding your strength and regaining a sense of normality can feel empowering—but knowing where to start can be overwhelming. That’s where I come in.

My journey to becoming a health coach began with my own experience of illness. After recovering from COVID, I started exploring the role of health coaching and realised how much my patients could benefit from this kind of support. That very day, I made the decision to train as a health coach.

As a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in cancer care within the NHS, I have worked extensively with patients facing brain and spinal tumours, as well as those undergoing chemotherapy and managing chronic illness. I’ve spent 18 years supporting brain tumour patients and their families, giving me deep insight into the gaps that exist in conventional cancer care.

Now, as a certified health coach, I offer personalised support that complements medical treatments and focuses on overall well-being.

My approach integrates the traditional medical approach with a more holistic awareness ensuring a safe and personalised experience. I design programmes that consider treatment interactions, side-effects, and timing, always prioritising safety and well-being.

With a deep understanding of cancer, its treatments, and its impact on daily life, I help my clients take an active role in their health. Whether you’re preparing for treatment, undergoing it, or navigating recovery, I empower you with strategies to enhance wellness, improve treatment tolerance, and support long-term healing.

Mental and emotional well-being are just as important as physical health. My coaching considers both, incorporating psychological techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and self-management strategies. My aim is to leave you with lasting, positive changes.

If you’ve been affected by cancer and want to restore your energy, strengthen your immune system, and regain control of your health, I’d love to support you.

Let’s start with a complimentary coaching session, where we’ll identify your immediate needs and create a personalised action plan to help you take the first step toward feeling better.

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW ABOUT ME…

I love sea swimming and believe in the power of cold water therapy

I am a real foodie! Eating well does not mean sacrificing taste, pleasure and socialising with food. I create delicious dishes that are nourishing and look beautiful

I don’t enjoy the gym, but I do love the feeling of having exercised. I run with friends so that it is sociable, I get to hear how they are and don’t even notice how far we have run.

MY MISSION:

Helping You Thrive Beyond Illness

MY GOAL IS SIMPLE:

To ensure that illness does not define you

Through personalised coaching, expert guidance, and a tailored approach that considers both medical treatments and holistic well-being, you’ll gain the tools, confidence, and motivation to thrive beyond your diagnosis.

Having spent years specialising in brain tumours, I know that no two journeys are the same. That’s why I create completely personalised coaching plans-because no two brains, bodies, or lives are alike.
